    sunsets are nice.

Christi has got the 'flu something terrible. I think she got it from me. Maybe I shouldn't have called her out for a yamcha session in Pyramid last night. Told her to keep away from my side of the table, but she kept creeping over anyway. Stubborn lar! Stubborn lar!

Took a run around the neighbourhood this evening, as thought the fresh air might do the 'flu some good. I don't know why, but somehow during the sunset, the neighbourhood turns all quiet and serene, and the wind drops. Everything is so still and beautiful, and as you watch the reddish-orange sunlight spread over the horizon, you get this sort of calm feeling. Sunsets are really the best time of the day, for me.

Would have brought along a digicam to capture the moment, but didn't want to increase my chances of getting mugged.

    sick. yuck.

I have the 'flu; it's the bug going around methinks. Ugh, scratchy throat, perpetually running nose.. it's horrible. If you can resist from getting the 'flu in an air-conditioned classroom full of people coughing, sneezing and hacking phlegm, you either gotta have a really strong immune system, or you just frequent the toilet far too many times.

    scandalized!

I was queuing up at the post office to pay some bills when this sweet little old lady with a walking stick came up to me and asked if she could cut in the line before me. Seeing her frail and delicate form, I smiled, nodded, and gave way for her.

Almost instantly, she turned and summoned her whole bunch of cohorts over from the back of the queue, to which they happily bustled over and stepped in the line before me. There must've been about 5 or 6 of them altogether.

I'd been tricked! By a little old lady!

Received quite a few dirty looks from people behind me as our turns were pushed further back, but what could I do??

    ta-dah!

Thought to have an online journal, as I love to write, but am too much of a lazyass to pick up a pen and keep a proper diary. Also, am threatened by the presence of too many snoops in the household.

I used to have a weblog a couple years back, but quit due to work overload and stress. Now that I have more time, I guess this would be a good way to combine my writings and practise my designing skills - both of which I hope to improve.

Anyhoo, if you haven't rolled your eyes and left this page already, enjoy! :D
